DAWGS IN A THRILLER IN LEXINGTON

Well tailgaters, chew any nails off during that game??? The DAWGS have allowed an avg of 38 pts a game over the past 3-4 games, making it very difficult for Stafford and AJ Green to keep up. But somehow they manage, especially with a Dwight Clark like catch in the back of the endzone in KY. If the dawgs can rally and win in Auburn and then for the last tailgate of the year in Athens, it's on to Florida for a trip to either the Cap One Bowl or Outback. Win there, and end up in the top 5 again.

More details will be posted on upcoming blogs regarding the Tech game. Since only Chef David, Sharon and I are looking, doesn't quite matter then does it?

Gators Win Big, Make DAWGS look Bad

Well, we did it again. Traveled to Jacksonville, to walk away with yet another loss. The DAWGS just can't seem to put back to back wins together against the gators from Gainesville.
The weather was perfect, yet again, for a battle on the St John's, but there was no battle. The Dawgs brought NO armor with them to battle, and missed opportunity after opportunity in the first half to keep things close. Two missed field goals, an interception, and some kind of trickery called a squib kick with the game barely into its first half, caused the DAWGS to lose any type of momentum, giving it all to TEBOW and CO. No crying this year, just a chance to redeem himself after being hurt in 2007. Half the stadium was empty again by the first of the fourth quarter, this time there was NO RED remaining, just blue and orange. The loyal gators stayed til the very end, while Meyer decided to take a few extra timeouts with the game in hand, to let his third string tailback get a few carries in. The impatient dawg players, not happy with this- might remain on their minds til next season.

Oh well, with 3 more victories, over KY, Auburn, and Tech, the DAWGS might end up 9-2 and on their way back to the land of the Citrus, more than likely a birth in the Capital One Bowl, to compete with Michigan State. Stay tuned!!!!!
